MAEER’s, Maharashtra Institute of Physiotherapy offers several academic facilities like state-of-the-art laboratories, Hi-tech, ultramodern classrooms and well-equipped libraries to facilitate deep learning, research, and innovation at every step.
Classrooms
MIPT has 4+ Hi-tech classrooms equipped with smartboards and LCD projectors to facilitate a better understanding of the subject matter. But what brings alive our classrooms are the discussions, presentations and brainstorming our students engage in as they learn in an environment which shapes them holistically.

Laboratories
Hands-on learning is at the heart of the learning pedagogy at MIPT.
These labs are equipped with the latest equipment and industry-oriented apparatus which the students utilise for various experiments, innovations and research. has excellent Pharmacy setup that allows the students to get a better grasp of the practical subject knowledge. Our Prime focus is always laid on research as this sole factor shall contribute greatly towards a successful career ahead. This is achieved by numerous state-of-the-art labs of various departments like Pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmacology, pharmacognosy, Quality assurances supported by well trained lab technicians where students get to perform Practical’s under guidance of experienced Faculty. Pharmaceutics is one of the disciplines in the pharmacy, which deals with formulation of a pure drug substance into dosage forms. The Department of Pharmaceutics has a rich tradition of innovation and advancement of health through new knowledge. Teaching & Research are the primary activity at the Department. The Department is equipped with modern labs and sophisticated instruments & machineries like Horiba Nano Particle Analyzer (Zeta Sizer), Stability Chambers, Auto Analyzer, 16 stn. Rotary tablet press, Capsule filling machine, Ultra Sonicator, High speed homogenizers, Rotary flash evaporator, Fully programmable Digital USP IV Dissolution Apparatus, Digital Programmable Disintegration Test Apparatus, Digital Friability tester, Planetary Mixer, Wet & dry granulator, Coating Pan, Ampoule Filling & Sealing machine etc.
Our Department staff contributes to teaching in the areas of Formulation development, Designing of novel drug delivery systems, Pharmaceutical Technology, Regulatory affairs including quality assurance, Biopharmaceutics & Pharmacokinetics, Intellectual property rights (Patent).
The Department has received funds & grants to carry out major research projects from Department of Science & Technology (DST), Govt. of India, University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and also produced significant output of research publications in peer reviewed journals. Currently, our thrust area of research is Nanotechnology & Phytopharmaceutics.
Auditorium
MIPT has multiple state-of-the-art auditoriums with audio-visual and multimedia facilities to hold seminars, guest lectures, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other academic and socio-cultural events of all forms and formats.
